Delaire Graff at Luca Cafe Ladybrand

Talk about a cozy venue with an enthusiastic group of people ready to explore the tastes of Delaire Graff wines and how the wine and food would enhance the flavours in each other.

Carin Joubert provided the 4 course meal that paired splendidly with the selection of wines that the incredible Kerryn who is the Brand Ambassador for Delaire Graff, arranged to pair with the dishes.

On the Menu:

Appetizer– Chilled Minty Pea Soup paired with the Delaire Graff Sauvignon Blanc Coastal Cuvee (Blackberry, Gooseberry and Tropical fruit flavours) with a fresh & crisp acidity finish)

First Course– Fried Salmon with a zesty Avocado & Coriander cream topped with Apple paired with the Delaire Graff Summercourt Chardonnay (Tropical fruit & zesty white peach flavours with a delicate minerality finish)

Mango Sorbet

Main Course- Slow cooked Lamb Neck on a bed of Creamy Mash & roasted Aubergine with Tomato & Basil paired with the Delaire Graff Botmaskop (a red blend with dark berry aromas & smooth tannins finish)

Berry Sorbet

Dessert- Roasted Nectarines with Toffee sauce & a Pecan crumble served with Mascarpone Ice cream paired with Delaire Graff’s Sunburst Noble Late Harvest. (Aromas of litchi & blackcurrant, flavours of spicy tropical fruit with an acidity finish.)
